Research Associate
Nikhita Allam is a Research Associate at L&M Policy Research with experience in population health consulting, economic evaluation and health policy analysis, grant writing, and public health equity research. At L&M, Ms. Allam performs quantitative and qualitative evaluation for federal clients including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as well as private client research contracts. Using both STATA and SAS, Ms. Allam works with survey data, Medicare claims data, and publicly available datasets providing analytical support to the L&M team.
Ms. Allam's work at L&M supports evaluating the impact of the Home Health Value-Based Purchasing Model for CMS and providing program support for value-based payment and public reporting programs for CMS. She also conducts quantitative analysis to support consumer testing, survey research, and end-to-end testing for CMS in the development and refinement of web-tools currently available on Healthcare.gov.
Prior to joining L&M, Ms. Allam worked as an outreach fellow for Aledade, Inc., a healthcare technology ACO management organization. Ms. Allam holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and international studies from University of Miami.
