Research Associate
Anna Lloyd is a Research Associate at L&M Policy Research. Ms. Lloyd utilizes experience in clinical care and qualitative research to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in improving web tools and outreach materials for the Health Insurance Marketplace. She conducts and analyzes in-depth interviews, focus groups, and environmental scans to understand Marketplace-eligible consumers’ perspectives, guide communication strategies, and enhance the HealthCare.gov enrollment process. Ms. Lloyd has also assisted with research to inform messaging for the Alzheimer’s Association and Medicare.gov.
Prior to joining L&M, Ms. Lloyd was a research assistant for the Department of Sociology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. As a research assistant, she examined stakeholder-driven methods to address social and ethical concerns in infectious disease management. She also has experience as a certified nurse aide in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Ms. Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Health and Society from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
