Research Associate
Ania Ruiz Borys, M.A., is a Research Associate at L&M Policy Research. Ms. Ruiz Borys has extensive experience conducting qualitative research, including developing protocols, managing recruitment, and conducting in-depth interviews and focus groups, in both English and Spanish. At L&M, she has supported a range of projects with federal and private clients to date, including formative and cognitive research, usability testing, and ad concept testing. Ms. Ruiz Borys currently supports consumer research projects focused on improving outreach and education efforts and refining decision-support tools for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
Prior to L&M, Ms. Ruiz Borys worked as a research assistant at an anti-hunger non-profit in Massachusetts, evaluating how expanding health services statewide impacts food security. In this role, she led focus groups and conducted phone surveys with hard-to-reach populations to inform state health policy. Ms. Ruiz Borys also has prior experience in state government and youth education.
Ms. Ruiz Borys holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School of Global Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Tufts University.
