L&M to provide project support to CMS's Medicare Contractor Management Group
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has contracted with L&M to provide project support to the Medicare Contractor Management Group (MCMG) during the transition from the current fee-for-service claims contractors to Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs).
L&M will support MCMG through various tasks including:
- Facilitating a workshop with MCMG staff to assess and gather information about group processes
- Defining the business architecture and concept of operations for the group
- Developing business process maps of select group processes
- Documenting standard operating procedures for select processes
- Recommending areas of improvement for the coming year
